Doug Hall

Doug Hall has been an inventor for over 50 years, starting with a "Learn to Juggle Kit" that he created and marketed at age 11. He holds a degree in chemical engineering and started his career in the Brand Management department at Procter & Gamble, where he rose to the position of Master Marketing Inventor, shipping a record 9 products in 12 months. Hall's innovative approach was significantly inspired by his father's work with Dr. W. Edwards Deming, focusing on the application of systems thinking to innovation.

After a decade at P&G, Hall retired to found the Eureka! Ranch, an invention and innovation education company. Under his leadership, the Eureka! Ranch has become a pivotal platform for innovation education, serving as the master distributor for Innovation Engineering courses, Jump Start Your Brain LMS content, and tools to a wide range of clients including corporations and educational institutions.

Hall's exploration into the whiskey industry led him to establish Brain Brew Custom WHISKeY, where he pioneered a patent-pending process that crafts premium spirits in 40 minutes, significantly reinventing traditional bourbon crafting and marketing methods.

An acclaimed authority in his field, Hall has been recognized as one of America’s top innovation experts by several prestigious publications including Inc. magazine, The Wall Street Journal, and CNBC. He has been conferred honorary doctorates from the University of Prince Edward Island and the University of Maine for his groundbreaking research in transforming innovation from an art into a science.

In addition to his entrepreneurial and educational pursuits, Hall has contributed to various media, co-hosting programs like ABC's "American Inventor" and hosting "Brain Brew Radio." He has also chronicled his adventurous expedition in the Arctic through his book "North Pole Tenderfoot."

Hall is an accomplished author with multiple influential books, including "Jump Start Your Business Brain," recognized as one of the 100 Best Business Books of All Time, and "Driving Eureka!" which encapsulates his 40 years of research into making innovation a systematic process.

Residing in both Canada and the USA, Doug and his wife Debbie actively support their communities through their Planet Eureka! Foundation.
