Dr. Assegid (AZ) Habtewold is the author of "Overcoming 1st Timer Syndrome," Amazon's #1 Best Seller, and is a transformation strategist who empowers leaders to leverage a unique culture for a competitive edge. Habtewold has over 20 years of international leadership development experience in both a classroom and a virtual environment. He serves diverse clients in some government agencies, corporations, and community organizations.
Habtewold has published five books. His latest book entitled “Overcoming 1st Timer Syndrome: 11 antidotes to thrive beyond first-time leadership pitfalls” will be published this coming August 2021.
Habtewold has a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree, a Master’s in Computer Science, and a Doctor of Strategic Leadership. He also has certifications such as Project Management Professional (PMP), Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI), Emotional Intelligence (EQ), and Instructional Systems Design (ISD). He is also the host of the "Pick Yourself Up" show that airs on MMCTV Channel 16.
