Dr. Lawrence Chimerine

Dr. Lawrence Chimerine is currently the Managing Director and Chief Economist at the Economic Strategy Institute (ESI) in Washington, DC, and holds positions as President of Radnor International Consulting Inc., in Radnor, PA, and Partner and Member of the Investment Committee of Miller Investment Management in West Conshohocken, PA. He is the former Chairman, Chief Executive, and Chief Economist of Chase Econometrics and The WEFA Group.

With over 25 years of experience as an economic consultant, Chimerine has provided expertise to a broad range of major Fortune 500 companies, financial institutions, and government agencies on the state of the US and world economics, specific industries and sectors, and the impact of economic conditions on decision making, budgeting, and strategic planning. He has served on numerous corporate boards, is a member of various professional associations, and has held teaching positions at three universities. Additionally, his role has extended to governmental advisory boards including the House of Representative Task Force on International Competitiveness, the Census Advisory Committee, and the Economic Policy Board of the Department of Commerce.
