Dr. Okey Napoleon Iwunwa

Dr Iwunwa is the president of The Napoleon Institute, a Think-Tank center that focuses on leadership development and policy research in Africa.

He is also the current president of UbaKey Global Commission For Humanity , a peace and human services agency working with the United Nations, The World Aid Organization and The International Human Rights in the areas of peace-making through human-capacity building in different parts of the world. He recently chaired the Afro-Caribbean Greater Partnership Council and was also a former board member at the National Higher Education International Council. In 2008-10, Dr. Iwunwa briefly served as member of the City Of Converse, Texas Economic Re-Development Committee in 2008-2010 and at the same time was voted into the 'CIRCLE OF INFLUENCE' at African American Chamber of Commerce, San Antonio where he joined hands with other African American leaders to transform the organization. Often described as 'EXCEPTIONALLY INTELLIGENT, GIFTED AND CONFIDENT' by peers in the circle, he went on to launch and produce a syndicated radio show, DEFENDING AMERICAN VALUES, where he focused on analyzing US-domestic policies and making them easier to understand. He also appeared on several TV shows and interviews to discuss youth and women development in leadership and business. In 2009, Okey was appointed a mentor at S.W.I.M (Spiritual Women In Motion) in San Antonio, Texas, where he mentored an organization of women clergies.

In 2016, he founded a national challenge program, PUSH55.ORG that is raising over $35m to build vocational schools for the Underprivileged children and to setup a Small Business Trust Fund for Underprivileged widows in Nigeria. The campaign is still active, and have become part of his core agenda at UbaKey Global Commission For Humanity.

Okey, whose career spans media, academe, business and government consulting is an expert on economic development and business strategy. He is a senior partner at Kenhag Funds and Accu-Data LLC. The Napoleon Group manufactures NAP-BRITE INDUSTRIAL NAPKINS, and runs the ROYAL CONES PIZZERIA & SEAFOOD GRILLS in Houston, Texas. His intellectual works are on organizational behavior and leadership, while his research focuses primarily on society change, understanding people, effective governance and leadership development. His works has been featured in Harvard Management Update, New Venture Development, and the Texas Business Journal.

In addition to holding a Doctorate in Economics, he has earned advanced diploma in Management of Change, Innovation Marketing & Executive Management, Corporate Dynamics, Decision Making and Governance. He obtained MA in Management at Harvard University and a PHD in Economics from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
