Peter Fonagy, PhD Medical Research Council Fellowship, University College, London; Diploma in Clinical Psychology, British Psychological Society; CEO, Anna Freud Centre, London; Head of Department, Research Department of Clinical, Educational and Health Psychology and the Freud Memorial Professor of Psychoanalysis, University College, London; currently serving as Senior Investigator, British National Institute for Health Research; Visiting Clinical Professor, Harvard University; Clinical Professor of Psychiatry, Yale University, School of Medicine; holder of numerous prizes, awards and other honors in the United Kingdom, USA and Israel; recipient of in excess of 50 research grants; authored or co-authored 16 books, nearly 400 original papers, including papers in press, over 200 book chapters. Professor Fonagy lives in London. With Anthony Bateman, he regularly runs training courses in Mentalization Based Treatment (MBT) at the Anna Freud Centre.
