Dr. Will Miller

Dr. Will Miller has not only managed his own complex challenges but has also earned four graduate degrees. His extensive career spans over 25 years as a psychotherapist and a stress consultant for police officers, with specialized training as an addictions counselor and certification as a trauma professional. Additionally, he is an ordained minister.

Miller's unique combination of experiences includes a significant tenure in entertainment and education. He spent 15 years as a nightclub comedian and another 20 years as a corporate speaker, entertaining and providing insights to companies such as Microsoft, IBM, Citi Group, Prudential, and Merrill Lynch. His presentations often emphasize the importance of personal connections to foster life balance and manage stress, particularly in corporate environments.

Currently, Miller is a graduate instructor at Purdue University, where he teaches courses in Communications and the effects of social media. He continues to research and address the crisis of loneliness, a central theme in his book "Refrigerator Rights: Creating Connections and Restoring Relationships." Moreover, he offers keynotes on mental health with a focus on practical strategies for managing anxiety and depression, especially aimed at professionals in high-stress careers. His approach frequently incorporates humor, drawn from his extensive background in stand-up comedy, enhancing the effectiveness of his communication.
