Drew Armstrong Biography
Drew Armstrong is an Editor and journalist at Bloomberg News. He manages a team of reporters and editors around the U.S. covering the intersection of health care, business and policy. He joined the company in 2010 after five years in Washington covering Congress and domestic policy, including passage of the 2010 health care overhaul law. In his roles, he’s written about legislation and lobbying, and how politics and policy affect the health industry. Before joining Bloomberg, he was a reporter at Congressional Quarterly. He grew up in Ann Arbor, Michigan and attended the University of Pennsylvania.
One of Armstrong's popular articles for Bloomberg is his personal account of identity theft, titled "I Lost My Identity to a Fraudster, and It Took Six Years to Clean Up the Mess." Besides posting about health care, business and finance, Armstrong is also educating others about identity theft through his own experiences.
