Dwight Howard

Dwight Howard is a professional basketball player who began his career in the NBA in 2004 with the Orlando Magic as the first overall draft pick. Howard excelled as a high school basketball player, leading Southwest Atlanta Christian Academy to a state title in 2004. His talent was widely recognized, as he received accolades, including the Naismith Prep Player of the Year Award and the McDonald's National High School Player of the Year honor. From a rookie who started all 82 games to winning the NBA Slam Dunk Contest in 2008, Howard quickly established himself as a formidable player in the NBA.
