Dyanis DeJesús

Dyanis DeJesús is a creative design strategist and consultant with over fifteen years of experience ranging from business development and innovation to creative services in marketing and communications.

DeJesús serves as the Vice President of Strategy for The Mars Agency, as well as a creative strategist and partner at Creatives mean Business, a consulting practice with subject matter expertise on the creative industries and creative economies.

She is also the co-author of the publication Orange Economy: Innovations and Trends in the Creative Industries in Latin America and The Caribbean (2017). Her work is rooted in applying design thinking methodology to strategy and communications using an integrated process that involves strategic business thinking, creativity, research, and problem-solving. This ultimately guides organizations on articulating strategies and developing initiatives that leverage creativity for business innovation and growth. Through her work, she seeks to influence a shift in the way we think of creativity in business and the impact that organizations and entrepreneurs can make.

DeJesús holds a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Communications from the University of Puerto Rico and a Master of Professional Studies (M.P.S.) in Design Management from Pratt Institute, New York where she now serves as visiting professor and thesis advisor for the Graduate Program of Arts, Cultural and Design Management.
