Eileen Davidson

Eileen Davidson is recognized by many television viewers for her role as Ashley Abbott on the No. 1 rated daytime drama "The Young and the Restless," which she first took up in 1982. Davidson left and returned to the show multiple times, with her return in 1999 leading to her second Emmy nomination. She also portrayed Ashley Abbott on "The Bold and the Beautiful". Davidson continued to build on her soap opera success by joining the cast of "Days of Our Lives: Beyond Salem" and starring in the Christmas feature "Days of Our Lives: A Very Salem Christmas".

She made television history with her appearance on "Days of our Lives," where she played five characters simultaneously and received her first Emmy nomination for Outstanding Lead Actress. She later won the Daytime Emmy Award for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama Series for her performances in "Days of Our Lives" in 2014 and "The Young and the Restless" in 2018. Davidson's talent was recognized again in 2021 when she won Best Supporting Actress and Best Ensemble at the Garden State Film Festival for her role in "7 Days to Vegas."

Davidson's filmography includes roles in notable films such as the horror film cult favorite "House on Sorority Row," the thriller "Symphoria", and the Netflix romantic Christmas drama "Holiday in the Vineyards". She also appeared in Stephen Cannell’s series "Broken Badges" alongside Ernie Hudson and Miguel Ferrer, and in TV film "Sharing Richard."

In addition to acting, Davidson has authored several mystery novels including "Death in Daytime", "Dial Emmy for Murder", and "Diva Las Vegas", with a film adaptation of one of her novels currently underway. From 2014 to 2018, she was a series regular on the Bravo reality television series "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills," making guest appearances in 2020.

Davidson has also worked as the spokesperson for the "Nubrilliance" microdermabrasion system and has represented the skincare product Prevage from Elizabeth Arden and Allergan. She has graced the covers and pages of numerous magazines such as TV Guide, Allure, Good Housekeeping, Andy Warhol’s "Interview," "Playgirl," "InStyle" and countless "Soap Opera Digest" covers.
