Elena Rybak Biography
Elena Rybak has been a director of European-Ukrainian Energy Agency (EUEA) since its establishment in 2009 and is responsible for executing decisions convened by the General Meeting and the Board. Under Elena’s leadership EUEA became a leading platform for promoting energy efficiency and renewable energy in Ukraine, bringing together more than 40 market leaders actively working on Ukraine’s sustainable development. Prior to joining EUEA Elena has been a Country Manager for Swedish-Ukrainian Business Club and Programme Coordinator of “Nordpraktik - New Managers for Ukraine Programme” during 2006-2009. Nordpraktik was a business development programme between Sweden and Ukraine financed by Swedish International Development Agency (SIDA), focusing among others, on sectors of energy efficiency in district heating systems, as well as promotion of technologies for bioenegy and “green” buildings. Elena holds a degree in Business Administration from International Christian University – Kyiv and is an alumna of several international exchange and leadership programmes.
