Elissa Berrol

Elissa Berrol is the founder of Luminary Consulting & Coaching. She is passionate about helping organizations increase their capacity to successfully navigate complexity - internal and external. She masterfully facilitates teams as they examine their default habits, manage polarities that create stalemate, and cultivate conditions for seeing and shifting stagnant dynamics. An insightful and collaborative change agent, she pursues strategies and interactions that challenge old narratives, promote diversity of thought, and tap into the inherent wisdom of her clients.

Berrol works with leaders and teams at all levels to (re)connect them to their values and practice courageous and authentic behaviors. She has an ability to quickly break down barriers to create a safe environment for honest dialogue and experimentation with new ways of seeing and leading. While Berrol has a down-to-earth approach and an ability to cut through BS (without causing defensiveness), her deep compassion, humor and courage enables leaders and teams to liberate themselves from self-limiting beliefs and fear-based thinking so they can lead with clarity, congruence and connection.

Berrol comes from a rich organizational consulting and coaching background working with a wide cross-section of industries for over 25 years. Whether helping leaders and teams: interact with authenticity, transparency, courage and compassion; explore and expand how they make meaning and understand the world; design interactive, thought provoking engagements, Berrol is committed to the work of human transformation and considers herself a living practitioner.

Her formal education and training include: MA in Organization Development (Sonoma State);MA in Adult Education (Harvard); ICF ACC Coach (Coaches Training Institute). Berrol lives in Davis, California with her 11-year-old daughter—the joy of her life—and their poorly trained but lovable dog. When not evoking the innate greatness in her clients, Berrol can be found playing in the wilderness, perusing farmer markets and embarking on adventures big and small.
