Elizabeth McCormick served as a Black Hawk Helicopter pilot and Warrant Officer for the United States Army, where she flew various missions including Air Assault/Rappelling, Command & Control, VIP, and Military intelligence. She supported United Nations peacekeeping operations in Kosovo and was recognized with the Meritorious Service Medal for her excellence in service. Her military decorations also include two Army Commendation Medals, three Army Achievement Medals, the National Defense Service Medal, the Humanitarian Service Medal, the Army Service Ribbon, and the Army Aviator Badge. She retired from the military as a Chief Warrant Officer 2 following a career-ending injury. In 2011, McCormick was honored with the Congressional Veteran Commendation for her commitment to duty and community.

Beyond her military career, McCormick has thrived as a CEO and business owner. She is a founding member of the John Maxwell Team of speakers, coaches, and trainers, and continues to be a celebrated keynote speaker globally.
