Emma Grede is a successful serial entrepreneur and advocate for inclusivity in fashion and business. She is the CEO and co-founder of Good American, a brand she launched in 2016 with Khloé Kardashian, which emphasizes body positivity and inclusivity, offering fashion in a wide range of sizes. She is also a founding partner of SKIMS, Kim Kardashian's shapewear and loungewear brand, and co-founded Safely, a line of plant-based cleaning products, with Kris Jenner.
Born and raised in London, Grede studied at the London College of Fashion before beginning her career in talent and entertainment marketing. She founded ITB Worldwide, a talent management agency, which she later sold before moving on to her ventures in the consumer products industry. She is also a board member of organizations like Women for Women International and Baby2Baby, advocating for women's empowerment and child welfare.
In addition to her business pursuits, Grede made history as the first Black woman to serve as an investor on the entrepreneurial reality show "Shark Tank." She is chairwoman of the Fifteen Percent Pledge, an initiative that encourages retailers to shift 15% of their shelf space to Black owned brands.
