Emmanuel Acho

Emmanuel Acho is an analyst for FS1. Acho has made significant contributions to sports broadcasting and the dialogue on social justice. He co-hosts the afternoon studio show "Speak for Yourself" and is the lead anchor of the rebranded show "Speak" on FS1. He also graced the NFL as a linebacker for teams like the Cleveland Browns and Philadelphia Eagles until his retirement in 2015. His broadcasting prowess was recognized when he received a Sports Emmy for Outstanding Sports Personality/Emerging On-Air Talent.

Acho's commitment to educating others on racism and social injustice is evident in his creation of the digital series "Uncomfortable Conversations with a Black Man." This series earned him a Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Short Form Nonfiction or Reality Series. Beyond this, he played host to the 25th season of "The Bachelor After the Final Rose" Special and is a co-host on FS1's newly-launched "The Facility."

Acho has written several books including "Uncomfortable Conversations with a Black Man," "Uncomfortable Conversations with a Black Boy," and "Illogical: Saying Yes to a Life Without Limits," all of which became New York Times bestsellers. He also co-authored "Uncomfortable Conversations with a Jew" with Noa Tishby, addressing antisemitism. In May 2022, he shared his insights and experiences as the Commencement speaker at the University of Texas at Austin, further establishing his role as a pivotal voice in contemporary conversations.
