Felton came to The Post from BuzzFeed News, where he was an investigative reporter on the inequality desk. Before BuzzFeed, Felton covered the intersection of racial inequality and education at the Hechinger Report, where he produced an award-winning investigation into the federal government’s failure to enforce school desegregation orders. He also serves as an assistant adjunct professor at Hunter College, where he teaches a course on investigative reporting.
