Eric Adler

Eric Adler was appointed Chief Executive Officer of Asset Management at Legal & General Group in September 2024. He was previously President and Chief Executive Officer of PGIM Private Alternatives, part of the Prudential Financial (PFI) and PGIM families. PGIM Private Alternatives comprises PGIM Real Estate, PGIM Private Capital, and Montana Capital Partners (mcp), providing clients with seamless access to comprehensive investment and financing solutions across private credit, real estate, agriculture, sustainable investing, infrastructure, and private equity.

Before his new position at Legal & General Group, Adler was CEO and Global Chief Investment Officer for PGIM Real Estate, responsible for overseeing the investment process and working with regional business leaders to build a consistent investment culture around the world. He also served as Chair of Private Equity and Head of PGIM's European business. Prior to joining PGIM, Adler co-directed Tishman Speyer’s European activities and was a member of its Global Management and Investment Committees.

Earlier in his career, Adler gained valuable experience at Morgan Stanley Real Estate, Credit Lyonnais, and Unibail in Paris. At Morgan Stanley Real Estate, he led investment activities in Germany, France, Italy, and Spain, and had overall operational responsibility for its Special Situations Fund II. He is also a founding member of the European Advisory Board of the Zell/Lurie Real Estate Center at the Wharton School and serves on the Editorial Board of The Academy of Real Assets, a UK organization that aims to have a significant positive impact on diversity within the real assets industry through philanthropic and educational activities with underserved youth.

Adler earned a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, summa cum laude, from the University of Arizona. He also holds a graduate business degree from HEC Business School in France.
