Eric Harr

Eric Harr is the founder & CEO of Make a Stand, Inc. — a new social impact brand platform with product in over 120 grocery stores across the West Coast — and in foodservice programs at: Intel, Salesforce, Netflix, Oracle, Microsoft and LinkedIn.

Make a Stand Inc. was inspired by his then 8-year-old daughter who “made a stand” against child slavery for 365 days in a row at her lemonade stand. The moment became a moment, featured on CBS News, ABC News, NBC News, BBC World News, The Huffington Post and other media.

He is a digital marketing and brand strategist, author, former CBS5 TV correspondent and syndicated columnist with The Los Angeles Times Syndicate International (LATSI), the former Founding Editorial Director of VIV Magazine — and the former founder & president of Resonate Digital, a Bay Area-based integrated digital marketing agency.

As founder & president of Resonate, Mr. Harr was responsible for developing strategic social campaigns, diagnosing and establishing overall strategies (including guiding policies and coherent actions), developing KPIs, sharpening brand messaging, developing content marketing strategies and drawing out actionable insights from a range of social analytics. He has worked with clients such as HP, RainX and The Conference Board.

Mr. Harr is a former nationally-syndicated columnist with The Los Angeles Times Syndicate International (LATSI) and the author of "The Real Truth About Social Media." For five years, he was an on-air correspondent with CBS5 in San Francisco, an author for Random House and Rodale and the founding editorial director of VIV Magazine, one of the first mass-market women’s digital magazines (named after his daughter Vivienne).

He is the creator of FlyRight, the first real-time customer service mobile app for airline travel.

He is a triathlete, ranked No. 6 in the world in his first year and finished 40th overall at the 2011 Ironman Triathlon World Championships in 9:01:34, while raising money for humanitarian causes.
