Eric Young Biography
Eric Young is a Canadian professional wrestler and host of Animal Planet's "Off The Hook: Extreme Catches." Born Jeremy Fritz, he began training in Ontario with Waldo Von Erich after completing high school. His debut match took place in Michigan in 1998. Just four months later, he had wrestled in ten matches and continued to compete in the independent circuit.
In January 2004, Young became involved with Total Nonstop Action Wrestling and has been involved with the league since. Throughout his wrestling career, he has won numerous championships including NWA World Tag Team Championship, NWA World Tag Team Championship and the TNA World Beer Drinking Championship, among others.
Young's signature moves include the diving elbow drop, the diving leg drop, the moonsault, the pendulum backbreaker and the superkick.
Outside of the ring, Young has been fishing since he was little and now hosts "Off The Hook: Extreme Catches" on Animal Planet. The show features unusual excursions such as paddleboard fishing for sharks and oil rig spearfishing.
