Erik Schluntz Biography
Having led the Harvard-MIT robotics team, Erik Schluntz is now on the forefront the smart robot industry. As Cobalt Robotics’ CTO, Schluntz leads development of new AI algorithms, machine learning and robot mapping. Cobalt’s autonomous security robots are built to learn, interacting with human partners and using new information to improve their functions.
Previously, he worked on SpaceX's Flight Software Team, leading testing for an entirely new fuel system on the Falcon 9 rocket in 2015, and on Google[x]'s Smart Contact Lens project, prototyping radical new uses for low power electronics in 2014.
He graduated from Harvard University with Master's and Bachelor's degrees Cum Laude in Electrical Engineering.
