Fooji was built in May of 2015 by Gregg Morton and Erik Zamudio. After spending all afternoon trying to figure out what they wanted for lunch, the guys decided to create a product that would help solve those lunchtime woes by randomly selecting top-rated meals from local restaurants. The trigger? Emojis, of course.
That’s when Fooji was born. The next day, they filed for a patent and got the ball rolling. After some quick press, they worked with their first brand: Verizon. This led to more interest from other large brands and on January 1, 2016, Fooji took a leap and pivoted exclusively to B2B. Now they’re changing the advertising game by helping brands give before they get, and fans are loving it.
