Erika Lucas

Erika Lucas is renowned for her expertise in venture capital and entrepreneurship. As the founder of "StitchCrew", she has been instrumental in providing capital and resources to over 200 women and minority-owned startups. This organization has successfully collaborated with global brands such as the NBA Team the Oklahoma City Thunder, BASF, and Google. Lucas is also the founder of VEST, a peer network for women professionals and an investment fund. VEST was launched as a response to the disproportionate effect of the Covid-19 pandemic on women in the workplace. She has also made notable contributions to LinkedIn discussions on entrepreneurship, syndicates, and investor relations strategy.

Lucas is an active member of several boards and organizations. She serves as a board director and finance chair for the Oklahoma City County Health Department, and a board director and vice chair for the Oklahoma Policy Institute. Additionally, Lucas is a board director for the Diversion Hub, a civil rights and social action organization. She is also a member of Leadership Oklahoma (Class XXIX) and Leadership Oklahoma City (Class XXXI). Her fluency in Spanish expands her reach across diverse communities.

Before her current roles, Lucas served in various high-profile positions that equipped her with a broad range of experiences. From 2014 to 2017, she was the vice president of Acorn Growth Companies where she oversaw the company's marketing and business development initiatives. Prior to that, she promoted Oklahoma's economy through trade and investment opportunities as the trade and foreign direct investment director for the Oklahoma Department of Commerce from 2008 to 2014. Lucas started her career in 2002 as a marketing and business development professional with American Industries Group and has also held positions with Republic, Thunder Launchpad, and Arvest Bank.
