Ewan McGregor

Ewan McGregor is a highly-regarded actor renowned for his wide range of roles and on-screen presence. Born in Crieff, McGregor was inspired to act from a young age by his uncle, actor Denis Lawson. He studied at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama in London, quickly gaining attention for his talent and laying the foundation for a successful career.

McGregor first gained recognition for his role in Danny Boyle's acclaimed film "Trainspotting," where he played the complex and charming heroin addict Mark Renton. The role demonstrated his ability to balance intensity and humor, leading to international acclaim. He further bolstered his reputation with strong performances in "Moulin Rouge!," showcasing his musical talents and depth of emotion, and the "Star Wars" prequel trilogy, where he embodied the legendary Jedi Knight Obi-Wan Kenobi.
