Made up of Thomas Finchum and Alex Marshall, Nashville band FINMAR prove the creative power of their friendship with each new song. Now celebrating their latest release, “In Common,” the group is poised to take over as country music’s breakout act of 2022.

In 2020, the duo released their debut song as FINMAR: “Breakable.” A poppy, cruising ballad with a pulsing beat and soul-baring lyrics, it introduced the newcomers’ unmistakable sound. The following year, they dropped “Homegrown,” a danceable track with an eruptive chorus and funky groove. A few months later, PEOPLE premiered the band’s third offering, “If It Weren’t For You.”
