Felice Cohen is known nationally and internationally as the woman who lived in one of the world’s smallest apartments. Her book, "90 Lessons for Living Large in 90 Square Feet (...or more)," is the inspirational story on how living in a tiny New York City studio for five years expanded her life. The book garnered global media attention; Cohen has been featured on "Good Morning America," "TODAY," CBS, Fox5, Sirius, NPR, Time, Forbes, Globe & Mail, New York Daily News, and the Daily Mail, among others. She also appears in a documentary on tiny living, writes the blog "Living Large in Any Space," and has spoken at dozens of Tiny House Festivals and conferences around the U.S. and Canada.
Cohen is an award-winning author of several books, including "Half In: A Coming-of-Age Memoir of Forbidden Love", the Amazon bestseller of her 30-year secret about an age-gap affair with her boss. Additionally, "What Papa Told Me", a memoir about her grandfather's experiences before, during, and after the Holocaust, has sold over 40,000 copies worldwide, been translated into Polish, and is used in Holocaust museums and educational curriculums. The book was endorsed by Elie Wiesel and Yad Vashem, and Cohen has been featured in two documentaries focusing on grandchildren of survivors.
Cohen has been a professional organizer for over 30 years and speaks around the country about living tiny, organizing, and decluttering. She shares her family's Holocaust survival story and conducts the writing workshop “From Pain to Published: Turning Heartache into Memoir.” Cohen has a history as a weekly opinion columnist for the New York City newspaper amNewYork and has contributed to the New York Daily News and the Cape Cod Times.
She graduated from the University of Massachusetts Amherst, where she was the first Jewish Affairs Editor for The Daily Collegian.
