Armed with a PhD in solar photovoltaics from the University of Oxford, Gabrielle Bourret-Sicotte co-founded Greenr, a "sustainability-as-a-service" company to empower individuals and enterprises to measure their carbon emissions and reduce them. Using artificial intelligence (AI) to provide what she calls personalized carbon coaching, Greenr's platform includes a self-reporting carbon calculator, a web dashboard and an employee engagement app.
Additionally, Bourret-Sicotte is Chief Evangelist and Head of Customer Success at Treefera, an AI-enabled data platform that helps global supply chains decarbonize – at scale.
Bourret-Sicotte received her bachelor's degree from University College London and holds a Circular Economy and Sustainability Strategies certificate from Cambridge Judge Business School. She has 10 years of experience in sustainability -- specializing in renewable energies, transition risk, climate policies, material science, carbon accounting, and satellite monitoring of nature-based assets -- and over five years of experience applying AI and machine learning in climate tech, particularly in carbon accounting and forestry/carbon modeling.
