Gadi Schwartz is an NBC News correspondent and co-host of "Stay Tuned Now" the first daily news show on Snapchat, broadcast on NBC News' Snapchat Discover platform. He is also a correspondent for NBC News and MSNBC; contributes reporting on issues facing the Hispanic community in America to the "NBC News x Noticias Telemundo Reports" series in both English and Spanish; and hosted "The Overview" on Peacock.
Schwartz has covered immigration issues along the US-Mexico border through the first hundred days of the Trump Presidency, the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio and 2018 Winter Olympics in South Korea, disinformation during the 2020 Presidential Election, hurricanes and natural disasters across the U.S., and climate change and sustainability around the world.
Prior to moving to network news, Schwartz was a reporter for KNBC in Los Angeles after spending nearly a decade at KOB-TV, the NBC affiliate, in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
Born in Guatemala City, Schwartz moved with his family to Belen, New Mexico, and later to Albuquerque when he was seven. He graduated from New Mexico State University with a bachelor’s degree in government and journalism with a minor in international relations.
