Gal Gadot

Gal Gadot, an Israeli actress, model, and producer, is recognized primarily for her portrayal of Wonder Woman in the DC Extended Universe between 2016 and 2023. Born in Petah Tikva, Israel, Gadot served as a combat trainer in the Israel Defense Forces for two years and pursued her education in law and international relations at IDC Herzliya. Her professional journey began in earnest when she was crowned Miss Israel in 2004, which opened doors to a flourishing career in modeling and acting.

In 2009, Gadot made her Hollywood debut as Gisele Yashar in "Fast & Furious," reprising her role in multiple sequels. Her big break arrived in 2016 with her casting as Diana Prince, or Wonder Woman, in "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice." The phenomenal success of "Wonder Woman" and its sequel "Wonder Woman 1984" elevated her to international stardom. Gadot's performance was not only acclaimed but also recognized with awards such as the #SeeHer Award at the Critics' Choice Awards in 2018 and the MTV Movie & TV Award for Best Fight in 2018. In addition, she was named one of Time's 100 Most Influential People in 2018, underscoring her impact both on and off the screen.

Gadot has expanded her professional pursuits beyond acting, co-founding a production company, Pilot Wave, with her husband. The company focuses on inspiring narratives and has been involved in developing projects like "Heart of Stone," in which Gadot starred. Her diverse filmography also includes notable roles in "Red Notice," "Death on the Nile," and Disney's live-action adaptation of "Snow White," where she played the Evil Queen.
