Gary Zukav

Gary Zukav is a best-selling author and recognized healer, widely known for his appearances on "The Oprah Winfrey Show" and his major contributions to Oprah Winfrey's work, particularly on her OWN network shows like "Super Soul Sunday." He discusses significant topics such as personal empowerment and authentic power, engaging a broad audience with his deep insights.

He was born in Kansas and is a graduate of Harvard with a degree in International Relations. Zukav served as a US Army Special Forces (Green Beret) officer with service in Vietnam. His literary journey began with the publication of "The Dancing Wu Li Masters: An Overview of the New Physics," which won The American Book Award for Science in 1979. This book, along with "The Seat of the Soul," which was a #1 New York Times bestseller thirty-one times and remained on the New York Times bestseller list for nearly three years, have significantly influenced the discourse on science and spirituality. His other notable works include "Soul Stories," "The Heart of the Soul: Emotional Awareness," and "The Mind of the Soul: Responsible Choice," co-authored with Linda Francis, his spiritual partner.

Zukav’s exploration of new-age principles and modern psychology in his books challenges the conventional Western model of the soul, positing that humanity is evolving from a species that pursues external power based on the five senses to one that seeks authentic power based on soulful insights.
