Geri Halliwell

Geri Halliwell, known worldwide as "Ginger Spice" of the Spice Girls, the best-selling female group of all time, embarked on a solo career after leaving the group in 1998. Her debut album, "Schizophonic" (1999), went double platinum in the United Kingdom and sold over two million copies worldwide. Halliwell's solo career also included UK number-one singles such as "Mi Chico Latino", "Lift Me Up", and "It's Raining Men". In addition to her achievements in music, Halliwell served as a judge on popular television talent shows such as "Popstars: The Rivals" (2002), "The X Factor UK" (2010, 2012), and "Australia's Got Talent" (2013).

In addition to her music and television endeavors, Halliwell has authored two autobiographies, "If Only" (1999) and "Just for the Record" (2002), and has written children's and young adult books under the name Geri Halliwell-Horner, including the "Ugenia Lavender" series (2008) and "Rosie Frost and the Falcon Queen" (2023).

Halliwell's "Rainbow Woman," launched in 2020, marks her return to music and showcased her skills in directing and executive producing.

As a public figure, Halliwell has used her platform to advocate for various causes. She served as a Goodwill Ambassador for the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) since 1998, gave the opening address at the UN Youth Summit in 2000, and was in talks with the Department for Education to establish a free school in North London specializing in the arts and business in 2015. In recognition of her contributions, Halliwell was awarded an honorary doctorate from Sheffield Hallam University in 2022.
