Glen Powell

Glen Powell began his career with minor roles in television and films, such as "Spy Kids 3-D: Game Over" and "Fast Food Nation." He later gained recognition through his roles in "Scream Queens," "Everybody Wants Some!!," and "Set It Up." His portrayal of astronaut John Glenn in the critically acclaimed "Hidden Figures" further solidified his presence in the film industry. Powell also demonstrated his range as an actor by starring in the action film "Top Gun: Maverick" and the romantic comedy "Anyone but You."

In addition to his acting career, Powell showcased his writing and producing skills in the dark comedy "Hit Man," which he co-wrote and starred in. His performance in "Hit Man" earned him a Golden Globe nomination. His ability to wear multiple hats in the film industry was further demonstrated in the disaster film "Twisters," where he not only starred but also took on the role of an executive producer. Powell's work in the film industry extends beyond acting, as he has also lent his voice to animated films, specifically "Apollo 10 1⁄2: A Space Age Childhood."

Powell was raised in Austin, Texas, and attended the Moody College of Communication at the University of Texas at Austin. His contribution to the film industry has been recognized and honored multiple times, including winning the Outstanding Performance by a Cast in a Motion Picture award at the Screen Actors Guild Awards for his role in "Hidden Figures." Furthermore, he has been inducted into the Texas Film Hall of Fame. In 2025, he introduced his sauce brand, Smash Kitchen, an affordable condiments line with twists on classic flavors.
