Prior to his current appointment, he was the CEO of Juno Therapeutics until Celgene in March 2018 for $9 billion. He served as an Executive in Residence at Warburg Pincus, a global private equity firm. Previously, he acted as EVP and COO for Dendreon Corporation. He has also served as President of Specialty Medicine at Bayer Healthcare and SVP of Global Commercial Operations at Chiron Corporation.
