Harnaam Kaur

Harnaam Kaur is a prominent figure in the arenas of body positivity, mental health, and LGBTQIA issues. This British social media personality leverages her platforms to challenge societal norms and promote self-acceptance. Kaur, who suffers from polycystic ovary syndrome, holds a Guinness World Record as the youngest woman in the world to have a full beard – a feature she has famously embraced and used as a catalyst for her work in body positivity. Her influence on fashion and beauty standards was demonstrated when she became the first woman with a beard to walk at London Fashion Week in March 2016.

Kaur's advocacy work extends beyond the fashion runway. She has participated in panel discussions in the House of Parliament on topics including mental health, body image, and cyberbullying. She has also taken her message to the TEDx stage, where she delivered a talk at TEDxWarwick in March 2018 titled "Empowerment through confidence".
