Harper Spero

Harper Spero is a business coach, community builder, storyteller, and the creator of Made Visible.

Spero founded Made Visible in 2018 after not finding content about life with an invisible illness that spoke to her. She was diagnosed with a rare primary immunodeficiency, hyper IgE syndrome, when she was 10, after showing signs since birth and remaining undiagnosed for a decade.

Spero hosts the "Made Visible" podcast, a platform that amplifies the stories of people living with or affected by invisible illness. Now with 125+ episodes and counting, the podcast features people with diagnoses, medical professionals, caregivers, people whose work stems from their connection to invisible illness, and friends of those with diagnoses.

Most recently, her work has centered on partnering with companies to create inclusivity and connection for their employees living with invisible illnesses, chronic illnesses, and disabilities. Her signature Experiential Keynote Session and 12-week Made Visible Storytelling Program use storytelling to empower organizations and individuals to create a company culture that values health differences.

Her recent clients include UBS, Sony Music Group, Diageo, Mellon Investments, and Public Consulting Group (PCG). Additionally, Spero has been a business coach for solopreneurs, freelancers, and small business owners since 2014. She helps individuals brainstorm, launch, build, organize, and grow their businesses.
