Hasan Minhaj

Hasan Minhaj is a comedian, writer, producer, actor, and television host. He initially gained recognition as a correspondent on the Emmy and Peabody award-winning program "The Daily Show with Trevor Noah." His tenure on the show lasted from 2014 until 2018, during which time he addressed topics ranging from Indian culture to the modern American political landscape. In 2017, Minhaj distinguished himself as the featured speaker at the White House Correspondents' Dinner, where he addressed the "elephant not in the room" and emphasized the importance of free speech and a free press.

In addition to his work on "The Daily Show," Minhaj developed and performed his critically acclaimed one-man show "Homecoming King," which debuted Off-Broadway after a sold-out run in 2015 and premiered as a Netflix special in 2017. This stand-up comedy special received positive reviews and earned Minhaj a Peabody Award.
