He earned his bachelor's degree in chemistry from Cornell University and his doctorate of medicine from Harvard Medical School, followed by a cardiovascular and interventional cardiology fellowship at Brigham and Women's Hospital. Additionally, he holds a master's degree in Business Administration from the University of St. Thomas and a health care executive certification from Harvard Business School.
