Herbert Henzler Biography
Senior Advisor of the Global Advisory Board of Moelis & Company Prof. Henzler, born on November 3rd 1941, started with a commercial apprenticeship at Shell AG in Stuttgart. After his studies of Business Administration at the Universities of Saarbrücken and Munich and his post‐graduate studies at the University of California, Berkeley, he did his Ph.D. at the Ludwig‐Maximilians‐University of Munich. In 1970, Prof. Henzler started working for McKinsey & Company where he was elected for the Shareholders'Committee in 1983. Prof. Henzler was Chairman of McKinsey Germany from 1985 to 1999. Till December 2001he was Chairman of Europe. From January 2002 till 2007 he was member of the McKinsey Advisory Board. From 2002 till 2012 Prof. Dr. Herbert Henzler was Senior Advisor to the Chairman of Credit Suisse Group. In 2009 he has been appointed to the Chairman of the Advisory Board of Credit Suisse Germany. Since 2012 he joined Moelis & Company in the role of Senior Advisor of the Global Advisory Board of Moelis & Company.
