Ilyce Glink

Ilyce Glink is an award-winning, nationally-syndicated columnist, blogger, television reporter, radio talk show host, and best-selling author. Her syndicated column, Real Estate Matters, appears four times a week in more than 125 newspapers and websites, including the Washington Post, Chicago Tribune, Los Angeles Times, Detroit Free Press, and the Wilmington News Journal. Glink also hosts the top-rated The Ilyce Glink Show on Sunday mornings for Newstalk 750 WSB, in Atlanta, and is the primary fill-in for Clark Howard. She writes the "Home Equity" blog for CBS MoneyWatch. An in-demand keynote speaker, Glink has delivered numerous speeches to a wide variety of audiences including Marriott Hotels, Countrywide Financial, Allstate Foundation, Discover Card, the Delaware State Treasurer's Office, Georgia State University, Society of American Business Editors and Writers, Youth Leaders International, Society of Professional Journalists, March of Dimes, and the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago.

Glink is the author of multiple books on real estate and personal finance, including her best-selling book, 100 Questions Every First-Time Home Buyer Should Ask (3rd Ed.). There are nearly one million copies of her books in print. Her latest book is Buy, Close, Move IN! (HarperCollins). She created and was Managing Editor for "Discover Edge," an on-line community sponsored by Discover Card for its 50 million cardholders, and is creator and Managing Editor of the Equifax Financial Forum, an online community sponsored by Equifax.

Glink contributes occasional commentaries to NPR's Sound Money and Marketplace Money, and is a frequent guest on radio and television programs, including Oprah, the Today Show, CBS This Morning, Fox News, Fox Business, CNN, CNBC, and WTTW/Chicago. She spent eight years as a personal finance and real estate reporter for WGN-TV, Chicago, and has hosted her own nationally syndicated two-hour radio program and syndicated minute, both reaching more than 65 stations nationwide.

The winner of numerous awards throughout her career, Glink's honors include Best Consumer Reporter, Best Blog, and Best Television Report from the National Association of Real Estate Editors. She also won the first Money $mart award from the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago and received two Peter Lisagor Awards for Exemplary Journalism from the Chicago Headline Club. In 2006, she was nominated for an Emmy® Award. Her books have won several regional awards.
