Eisley was born in Los Angeles, California, the daughter of musician David Glen Eisley and actress Olivia Hussey, half-sister of Alexander Martin, and has another half brother named Max from her mother's second marriage to Akira Fuse. She is also the Niece of actor Jonathan Erickson Eisley. .
Eisley and her mother appeared in the 2005 movie Headspace together. After small roles in various independent films, Eisley gained a major role in 2008 with The Secret Life of the American Teenager for the ABC Family Network.
She plays Ashley Juergens, younger sister of teen mother Amy Juergens.
She has been cast in the 2014 Disney film Maleficent as a younger version of the witch Maleficent (played by Angelina Jolie).
