Ingrid Fetell Lee

Ingrid Fetell Lee is a designer, author, and speaker who explores the profound effects of our surroundings on our emotions and well-being. As the founder of The Aesthetics of Joy and a former design director at IDEO, she integrates design, neuroscience, and psychology to enhance how environments influence our daily moods and behaviors. Her celebrated book "Joyful: The Surprising Power of Ordinary Things to Create Extraordinary Happiness" and her TED talk "Where Joy Hides and How to Find It," which received a standing ovation and has been viewed over 17 million times, articulate her unique perspective on finding joy in everyday settings.

Lee's insights have been widely recognized and featured in major publications including The New York Times, Wired, and Fast Company, and broadcasts like PRI's Studio 360 and CBC's Spark. With over fifteen years of design and branding experience, she has led impactful programs for renowned companies such as Target, Condé Nast, and American Express.
