Iqbal Paroo

Mr. Paroo brings over 30 years of health industry and international leadership experience to Paroo and Associates. His expertise lies in complex health care systems, academic health care institutions, technology companies, and venture-funded startups. He specializes in business turnarounds, transition management of academic health care centers, market strategy formulation and execution, and organization governance. To client engagements Mr. Paroo brings:

    Systems thinking and market-based approaches and solutions to complex issues;

    Understanding of how social networks, the science of self-organization, and network theory enhance organizational performance;

    Experience in private, public and social sectors across a number of industries that informs holistic and creative organization assessments and strategy formulations;

Informed policy perspectives from serving on national committees as an adviser to foreign policy initiatives and, currently, in the dialogue on national health care reform;

Mr. Paroo continues to serve on the boards of several private, public and social sector organizations.

He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business and Finance and a Master Degree in Hospital and Health Care Administration from Georgia State University and a certificate from Stanford University’s Young Presidents Executive Program.
