Isabelle Kocher Biography
Isabelle Kocher is the CEO of ENGIE Group, a global energy player and an expert operator in electricity, natural gas and energy solutions. ENGIE operates in more than 70 countries, employs about 150,000 people and achieved revenues of €66.6 billion in 2016.
Isabelle Kocher joined the Suez Company in 2002 (then GDF-Suez, now ENGIE) and held various key leadership positions within the Group. Most recently, she served as CFO of ENGIE and deputy CEO and Chief Operating Officer.
She is also Chairperson of Terrawatt Initiative (TWI), a global non-profit organization which aims at scaling up solar capacity in the world.
She is a Board member of SUEZ and Axa.
Isabelle Kocher is the first Frenchwoman to lead a company in Paris’s CAC 40 stock market index. In 2017, she ranked #3 in Fortune’s Most Powerful Women lnternational list.
