Ish'mael A. Ngu

Inspired by his faith, he left a thriving life in Cameroon for the USA to discover the blueprint for fulfilling a God-given destiny. For over 12 years, he gave up comforts and lived on faith with the goal of understanding the blueprint for taking risks and living faith-filled and purpose-driven lives in their spheres of influence. And yes, he found it. He brings the African flavor and a multi-cultured perspective to the Western experience.

As one of four boys, raised by a single mother in a male-dominated, traditionally centered West African country, he assisted his mother, from selling spices on the streets to creating multimillion-dollar businesses as a teen. As a high school graduate, he started The MARCO initiative in Cameroon training kids and youth in public speaking, scriptures, entrepreneurship, law, and more. These kids have become lawyers, doctors, engineers, and activists. As a John Maxwell Certified Speaker, Coach, and Trainer he lives his purpose which is to help people, families, and communities realize that life is not full of surprises, we are.

His vulnerable, interactive, and storytelling approach, coupled with his passion and humor make him a speaker that can relate to nearly any audience. He is a manager in the Asset Management field and a Director of Consular Services International, a diplomatic consulting company. He holds a BBA in Accounting with an MA in Negotiation and conflict resolution. In 2018, he received a certificate of congressional recognition for providing mediation training to the Florence-Firestone Community Leaders. He recently received a Diploma from Adullam RCN Theology Seminary. He enjoys reading, traveling, and movies.
