Izzet Pinto was born in Istanbul in 1978. After his graduation from Stratford College in USA, he went to Thailand and worked in the trading business for several years. Upon returning to Turkey, between 2004 and 2006, he represented Turkey's bestselling authors. In 2006, he set up Global Agency to distribute Turkish formats and dramas to the world. In 2008, he received the Entrepreneur of the Year Award from Junior Chamber International. Today, Global Agency is known as one of the world’s leading ‘independent’ distributor, representing projects from all around the world.
