JID has been an influential figure in the music industry since he first signed with J. Cole's Dreamville Records in 2017. As a member of the musical collective Spillage Village and the hip-hop group Zoink Gang, he has consistently demonstrated his unique lyrical and musical talent. His debut studio album, "The Never Story," was released in the same year he signed with Dreamville, earning critical acclaim. The success continued with his second album, "DiCaprio 2," in 2018.
