Jaboukie Young White

Jaboukie Young-White is a versatile comedian, writer, actor, and musician from Chicago who gained notoriety as a correspondent on "The Daily Show with Trevor Noah." Named one of Variety's 10 Comics to Watch at the 2018 Just for Laughs Montreal Comedy Festival, Young-White has expanded his career to include remarkable voice acting roles, such as voicing the first openly gay protagonist of a Disney Animation Studios feature film, Ethan Clade in Strange World, and the lead character, Truman, in the animated series "Fairfax" on Amazon. He has displayed his humorous prowess by performing stand-up twice on "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon" and showcasing his engaging half-hour special for Comedy Central Stand-Up Presents.

In addition to his successful comedy career, Young-White has showcased his writing talents on popular Netflix shows, such as "American Vandal" and "Big Mouth." He has also starred in a variety of film and television projects, including HBO’s "Crashing," the Sony feature Rough Night, the Netflix feature Set it Up, Jennifer Kaytin Robinson's feature Someone Great, Mike Mills' feature C’Mon, C’Mon opposite Joaquin Phoenix, and the lead role in the independent rom-com film Dating & New York, which premiered at the 2021 Tribeca Film Festival. Young-White has also been recognized by Rolling Stone as one of the 25 Under 25: Meet the Musicians, Actors, Activists Changing the World.

His recent works include recurring roles in highly anticipated series such as Hulu's "Only Murders In The Building," and "Rap Sh!t" on HBO Max, produced by Issa Rae. In addition to his acting roles, Young-White is developing a new series for HBO based on the book "The Gang's All Queer: The Lives of Gay Gang Members" and writing the script for an upcoming animated feature inspired by the music of Juice Wrld. Not limiting his talents to just acting and writing, Young-White has ventured into music, releasing his debut single "BBC" in 2022 and his debut album "All who can't hear must feel" in 2023, for which he also directed the music video for the song "BBC."
