Jack Black

Jack Black is an actor, musician and entrepreneur best know for his work in films like "Bernie", which earned him a Golden Globe nomination, DreamWorks Animation's "Kung Fu Panda" franchise, "Tropic Thunder," "School of Rock," and 2023's "The Super Mario Bros. Movie". Black has appeared in many television shows over the years, including HBO's dark comedy series, "The Brink". In 2025, he starred in "A Minecraft Movie," which became the biggest domestic opening of his career.

Outside of acting, Black has demonstrated his musical talent as the lead singer of the rock-folk comedy group Tenacious D. Their self-titled album, released with Epic Records in 2001, achieved gold-selling status, and the group also released a feature film, "Tenacious D in The Pick of Destiny" in 2006. This wide range of experience showcases Black's adaptability and creative ability in different entertainment mediums. Furthermore, Black has leveraged his experience in the industry to form his own production company, Electric Dynamite, which currently has several new projects in development.
