Jack Whitehall

Jack Whitehall is known for his versatile talent in comedy, writing, and acting. His acting prowess was showcased in notable roles as JP in "Fresh Meat" and as Alfie Wickers in "Bad Education," a sitcom he co-wrote for BBC Three. He continued to demonstrate his writing skills with the film adaptation, "The Bad Education Movie," in 2015. His comic sensibilities were also put to good use as a regular panelist on the comedy game show "A League of Their Own" from 2012 to 2018 and as the host of the BRIT Awards from 2018 to 2021.

Whitehall's knack for comedy was apparent early in his career, with a nomination for 'Best Newcomer' at the Edinburgh Comedy Awards in 2009. He has since written and performed five stand-up tours, including "Jack Whitehall Live," "Gets Around," "At Large," "Stood Up," and "Settle Down." In 2011, he set a Guinness World Records title for hosting the 'Highest stand-up comedy gig in the world' with fellow comedians Dara Ó Briain and Jon Richardson. His stand-up show "Let's Not Speak of This Again" sold out at the Hammersmith Apollo in November 2011.

In addition to his successful stand-up tours, Whitehall has been involved in numerous projects. He has lent his voice to animated films such as "Frozen" as Gothi and "The Queen's Corgi" as Rex. He starred in the BBC comedy-drama series "Decline and Fall" in 2017 and appeared in the Netflix comedy documentary series "Jack Whitehall: Travels with My Father." In addition to their travel series, the father-son duo released their book, "Him & Me," a hugely entertaining and irreverent account of a unique relationship between a father and son. His recent projects include "Jack Whitehall: Fatherhood With My Father" set for release on Netflix in September 2024, and film roles in "Malice" and "Silent Retreat," both currently in post-production.
