Jacy Good

Jacy Good was raised with a strong sense of responsibility and activism. Growing up, she learned the importance of being part of the solution rather than the problem. This principle guided her through her academic and extracurricular endeavors at Muhlenberg College, where she quickly assumed the role of president of the Environmental Action Team and became known for her commitment to making a significant impact.

Good graduated magna cum laude and was inducted into Phi Beta Kappa, earning degrees in International Studies and German Studies on May 18, 2008. That same day, a tragic car accident involving her family drastically altered the course of her life. Good and her parents were hit by a tractor-trailer after a distracted driver ran a red light while using his cell phone. The accident resulted in the immediate loss of her parents, and left Good with severe, life-threatening injuries. After a challenging recovery, she was driven to prevent similar tragedies by advocating for traffic safety and the dangers of distracted driving.

Today, Jacy Good is a recognized motivational speaker and a fervent advocate for road safety. Her work has led her to make numerous public appearances, including a notable segment on "The Oprah Winfrey Show," where she shared her personal story and mission. Good continues to speak at various events and conferences, emphasizing the critical need for traffic safety laws and policies. Through her compelling presentations, inspired by her own harrowing experiences, Good strives to educate and influence audiences on the vital issue of distracted driving.
