Jamila Hunter is the Senior Vice President of Comedy at ABC. Before being promoted to this role she served as the Vice President of Comedy. Hunter became Vice President of Comedy in 2011 where she oversaw shows like “Black-ish,” “Fresh Off The Boat,” “The Real O’Neals” and “Last Man Standing.”
Hunter has extensive experience in the industry, and before working for ABC she was part of the team that launched Oprah Winfrey’s OWN. She also was senior vice president of alternative and digital programming NBC and vice president of comedy development at 20th Century Fox Television.
